Jacob Clifford Deen Jr. of Blue Ridge, Texas passed away April 7, 2018 at the age of 63. He was born on March 11, 1955 to Jacob Clifford Deen Sr. and Betty Ruth (Rives) Deen in Corpus Christi, Texas. Cliff proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He received a degree in electrical engineering from the University of California in 1976. Cliff married Carolyn Ann Self on July 21, 1977 in Kountze, Texas. He spent his career in the technology sector and banking industry, and retired as a Vice President with Bank of America after 16 years. Cliff enjoyed scuba diving, hanging Christmas decorations and lights, and cooking. He loved animals and was a car enthusiast. Cliff was a member of the Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Ann Deen of Blue Ridge, Texas; sons, Jacob Deen and Summer of Prosper, Texas, Gregory “Greg” Deen of Dallas, Texas, and Gary Deen also of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Bella Deen, Lilah Deen, and Jacob Deen; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
Cliff was preceded in death by his parents.
A remembrance gathering will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.; Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Turrentine Jackson Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
