Jacob Keyorian Lewis, a resident of Allen, Texas, passed away July 1, 2026, in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 23. He was born on October 28, 2002, in Big Spring, Texas, to his loving parents, John E. Lewis and Cheryl A. (Young) Lewis.
Jacob spent his school years in North Texas, attending Allen High School before graduating from Plano East Senior High School. He had a vibrant personality and an infectious smile that drew people to him. A true social butterfly, he never met a stranger and had a remarkable ability to make everyone around him feel welcome.
Music was one of Jacob's greatest passions. He loved creating music, laughing with friends, and making the most of every moment. He also enjoyed playing video games and had a deep appreciation for animation. His favorite color was red, a fitting reflection of his energetic and spirited nature.
Above all, Jacob will be remembered for his kind heart, outgoing personality, and the joy he brought to those fortunate enough to know him. His laughter, creativity, and genuine love for people will be deeply missed and forever cherished by his family and friends.
Jacob is survived by his beloved parents, John and Cheryl Lewis of Allen, Texas; siblings, Joneé Simon (Terrance) of Houston, Texas, Jodie Lewis of Allen, Texas, Aumbree Cox and Kayzsa Cox, both of Odessa, Texas; grandparents, Paul and Torunna Sims of Irving, Texas, Rosie Walter of Plano, Texas, and Charles and Lois Young of Texarkana, Texas; and a host of family members and friends, who will miss him dearly and fondly cherish his memory.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Following the funeral, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service.
The family will receive guests during a visitation from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at the funeral home.
