A proud 1965 graduate of McKinney High School, Jack’s early career began at Texas Instruments in Dallas, Texas, before he set out on his own to own and operate New Hope Grocery in New Hope, Texas. Later, he turned his focus to farming, a pursuit he enjoyed for many years, finding great satisfaction in working the land. A lifelong enthusiast of John Deere and antique tractors, Jack took particular pride in his restored John Deere 430 T-LP, a tractor that he often took to tractor shows, sharing his passion with others.
In addition to his farming pursuits, Jack was a gifted builder and after moving to Arkansas, he constructed beautiful homes throughout the Harrison, Arkansas area. His work was always a reflection of his dedication and meticulous attention to detail. Jack also enjoyed the thrill of flying his small plane. He cherished time spent hunting, especially in the hills of Marble Falls, Texas.
Above all, Jackie’s greatest joy was his family. He was a loving father to his daughter and a devoted grandfather to his grandchildren. His time with them was always cherished, and he was his happiest whenever they were near.
Jack will be remembered for his kind heart, his great sense of humor, his generosity, and his unwavering love for his family and friends. He was a true friend to many and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
