Dorcas, First of all I send my sincere sympathy in the loss of your husband - I had no knowledge of his passing until now. I have been trying to locate you for an entirely different matter and just found out. I apologize for having to contact you in this way, but I have been trying to locate a "Release of Lein" on the Belford property that I purchased from your father and since I have been unable to locate one (the courthouse said there is not one on file and that's not unusual in older Warranty Deeds), I contacted Rick Standifer, Attorney who was partners with Eric Clifford at the time of purchase, and since Eric is no longer practicing due to health problems, he suggested this route to contact you as a last resort. Rick says if you would sign an Affidavit stating that the property (Belford Apartment Building, Lot 6, Lot 6A) note has been paid off, it would serve as a Release of Lein. Would you do that for me? If so, you can email me: klkrkk@yahoo.com and I'll have Rick to draw it up and send it to you. Again, I'm sorry about everything you have been going through. Feel free to call me at 903-272-5396 (cell). Kenny KENNETH L KAMMER, January 26, 2018 Growing up with Jack next-door was an experience I will always be grateful for!! He was almost the brother I didn't have... back when Jack and I were four. From childhood through high-school we shared so many things.... most of them are very happy!! So sorry to hear of this tonight.... He was loved!
