Iyekemi Grace Okutubo was born on September 17, 1965, in Kabba, Kogi state, Nigeria, to Joseph Oloworaran and Alice Dare. Grace Kemi attended saint Barnabas and went to Saint James Primary and Secondary School Sabo Oke Ilorin. Afterward, she went to Molete High School, Ilorin, and graduated with a diploma. Following, Grace gained admission to Molete School of nursing and midwifery, Ilorin, and graduated with an associate degree. She worked at various hospitals in Nigeria, including the University Teaching Hospital Ilorin, Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, and Jos Specialist Hospital. Grace moved to the United States in 2015. She started working for Sunrise Assisted Living in 2016 until she was called into glory. Grace has provided care for hundreds of people. In her past time, she enjoyed reading, traveling, cooking, and studying the word of God. She was a member of the Pentecostal church. Grace was a loving mother, sister, and friend. She will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her. Iyekemi Grace Okutubo was called into glory on Monday, February 27th, 2023.
She is survived by her three children, Marvelous Okutubo, Moyinoluwa Okutubo, and Ibukunoluwa Okutubo: brothers and sisters; Adebayo Oloworaran, Charles Oloworaran, Bunmi Ajiboye, Modupe Oloworaran, Toyin Adeyemi, Dayo Oloworaran, Funsho Oloworaran; and a host of other loving family and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 am, Friday, March 10, 2023, at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The family will receive friends on Thursday afternoon, March 9, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
