Irving Kantrowitz, age 82, of Frisco, Texas passed away on July 5, 2026, in Carrollton, Texas surrounded by family. He was born on December 8, 1943, to Ray (Levine) and Abraham Kantrowitz in Norfolk, Virginia. Irving served his country in the United States Air Force and retired as a Staff Sergeant. On January 24, 1971, Irving married Harryette Marsha Kachalsky in San Francico, California.
Irving is survived by his wife of 55 years, Harryette Kantrowitz of Frisco, Texas; his son, Jason Kantrowitz and his wife, Ruth of Las Vegas, Nevada; his daughter, Susan Evans and her husband, Jeremy of Frisco, Texas; his three grandchildren, Leah Kantrowitz, Emma Kantrowitz, Joshua Evans; his sister, Cecilia Weisverger and her husband, Stan, of Virginia Beach, Virginia; his sister-in-law, Randee Meyer of Plano, Texas; his nephews Brian Meyer and his wife, Tracy of Frisco, Texas, Christopher Meyer and his wife, Anya of Lakewood, Ohio; and his niece, Patti Meyer of Frisco, Texas.
Irving was preceded by his parents.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 8520 Main Street, Frisco, Texas 75033, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211, beginning at 11:15 AM.
