Irma Jo Feibelman, born Irma Jo Morgan, passed away on Friday, September 18, 2026. She was born on Christmas Day, December 25, 1936, in Frisco, Texas, to Gordon and Naomi Morgan.
Irma graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in geology. After college, she moved to Houston and began working for NASA, where she met her husband, Jim Feibelman. Together, Irma and Jim shared a life filled with faith, family, travel, and adventure, visiting many places throughout the world and creating cherished memories along the way.
After retiring, they made their home in Canyon Lake, Texas, where they were active members of their church and community. Irma’s Christian faith was central to her life. She loved studying the Bible and sharing God’s Word with others, and her faith guided the way she lived and cared for those around her.
Family was everything to Irma. She was known for her strong personality, generous spirit, and loving heart. She also enjoyed playing Mahjong and treasured the friendships and fellowship it brought into her life.
Irma was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Naomi Morgan; her sister, Georgia Hayes; her brother, Sonny Morgan; and her nephews, J.R. Morgan and David Pierce.
She is survived by her sister, Charlene Pierce; her nieces, Tana Murphy and Penny Morgan; her nephew, Wes Hayes; and many beloved great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, great-great-nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Irma leaves behind a lasting legacy of strength, generosity, devotion to family, and enduring faith. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 11 AM at Rowlett Creek Cemetery, 10228 Rowlett Cemetery Rd, Plano, TX, 75025.
