Mrs. Iona Kathryne Schoppe, age 82, of Little Elm, Texas passed away February 5, 2005, at her home. She was born September 23, 1922, in Coryell County, Texas to Carl and Lillie May (Dodson) Frasure. On July 25, 1941, she married Walter D. Schoppe in Rosenburg, Texas. Mrs. Schoppe was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband, Walter D. Schoppe of Little Elm; children, Rita Royal and husband, Bob of Sealy,Texas, Bettye Hammons and husband, Doug of Little Elm, and Harold Schoppe of Oakgrove, Texas; grandchildren, Cathy Gau, Carol Fulkerson, Everett Fulkerson, Leah Walke, Kimberly Craft, Marie Morrison, William J. Chappell, Amey Gallegos, Kenneth Schoppe and Richard Schoppe; 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sister, Metta Barnes of Wichita Falls, Texas; and several nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard W. Schoppe; great-granddaughter, Emily Morrison; sister, Ruby Stewart; brothers, John Carl Frasure and Charles Henry Frasure. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 8, 2005, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Frisco Chapel with Chaplain Bob Garsee officiating. Interment will follow at Little Elm Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home for visitation.
