Inge Clothier went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ the afternoon of September 5, 2017, after a 10-year battle with breast cancer. She was supported to the end by loving family, friends, and caregivers at her home in Frisco, Texas.
Born in 1943 to a German family living in Poland, Inge immigrated at age 12 with her family to Chicago where she eventually met her husband, Dean. Together, they lived on three continents (Europe, Africa, and North America), raised a son and a daughter, and made their home in several states (Illinois, Texas, Oklahoma, and Missouri). In 2014, she and Dean returned to Texas and settled near their children, both of whom reside in Frisco.
Inge is survived by her husband, Dean; two children, Brent (Tara) and Wendy; and a darling granddaughter, Brenna. Inge is also survived by two brothers, Waldemar (Jean) Schmeichel, Harry (Ginny) Schmeichel, and one sister, Erika Schubert.
She was preceded in death by her younger brother, Alfred Schmeichel.
