Ina Mildred Merryman

Ina Mildred (Butler) Merryman of Garland, Texas passed away on February 15, 2017 at the age of 95.  She was born on May 6, 1921 to Jasper Clayton and Eva Mildred (Smith) Butler in Allen, Texas.  Mildred graduated from McKinney Boyd High School.  She married Ray Merryman on September 10, 1948 in Ennis, Texas.  Mildred worked as an operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone for 38 years. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.  Mildred was of the Methodist faith and was a member of the former St. Paul Methodist Church in Garland, Texas.

Mildred is survived by her daughter, Jan Merryman Robertson and husband, Mike (Rob) of Garland, Texas; grandchildren, Jennifer Robertson Sisson and husband, Gentry of Rowlett, Texas, Ryan Robertson of Garland, Texas, Ken Kramer and wife, Kimberly of Grapevine, Texas; great-grandchildren, Bailee Rae Sisson, Brody Aaron Sisson, Jacob Kramer, Michael Kramer, Gabrielle Addison; great-great-grandson, Jonah Addison; and numerous other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray Merryman; brothers, Elwood Butler and Clayton Butler; and nephews, Walter Butler and Don Butler.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel in Allen, Texas with Rev. James O’Dell officiating.  Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen.  The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
