Ignacio Arriaga, age 46, of Sherman, Texas passed away on April 14, 2020. He was born October 30, 1973, in Mexico to Juan Arriaga and Adelaida Vazquez. Ignacio worked in the construction industry as a welder.
He is survived by his son, Jonathan Arriaga of Sherman, Texas; mother, Adelaida Vazquez of Mexico; sisters, Sofia Arriaga and husband, Jose Luis Garcia of McKinney, Texas, and Josefina Arriaga and husband, Pedro Jaral of Mexico; brothers, Fernando Arriaga and wife, Marisol of Celina, Texas, and Marin Arriaga and wife, Mireya of Celina, Texas; nieces, Daniela Arriaga, Fernanda Arriaga, Ana Karen Arriaga, Jaqueline Garcia, and Estefania Arriaga; nephews, Julio Cesar Arriaga, Martin Arriaga, Juan Carlos Arriaga, Juan Daniel Arriaga, Jose Luis Garcia, and Jose Jesus Garcia; and numerous cousins.
Ignacio was preceded in death by his sons, Dakota Shane Baker and Sebastian Arriaga; his father, Juan Arriaga; and his grandparents.
A visitation will be held at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 109 South Oklahoma Street, Celina, Texas 75009, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 19, 2020. A private graveside service will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Sherman, Texas.
A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
