Mr. Hugh Hill Flippen, born July 23, 1945 in Richmond, VA and died March 30, 2004 at home in Plano, TX. He is survived by his wife, his two daughters, Lisa Flippen of Clearwater, FL and Tonia Flippen of Chicago, IL. Hugh was employed by Concote Corporation of Dallas, where he was in sales. Hugh was a graduate of Massanutten Military Academy, Woodstock, VA and received an honorable discharge from the Virginia National Guard. He also attended the University of Richmond before beginning his business career in 1971. Family, friends and coworkers were blessed to have shared Hugh’s kind, compassionate spirit and his easy-going manner. He enjoyed life to its fullest and did so with dignity and grace. May God bless you, Hugh, and keep you in his loving arms. A memorial service to celebrate Hugh’s life will be held at 4:00 PM., Monday, April 5, 2004 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Allen, TX. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Cancer Society.
