Homer Lee Fraley

Homer Lee Fraley was born July 29, 1933 in Sadler, Texas to Homer Rice Fraley and Ollie Grace Green Fraley. He passed away on July 23, 2021 in Sherman, Texas at the age of 87 years.

Homer married Judith Kay Markwood on March 21, 1982 in Whitewright, Texas. He was a proud member of the U.S. Navy, serving four years in the military, a member of the Masonic Lodge, as well as a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Whitewright. Homers professional career consisted of over 37 years working for Sherwin Williams as a store operator, salesman and a Chemical Coatings representative and product applications expert. An avid golfer and fisherman, Homer spent many days playing golf at his “club” at Grayson College and fishing on Lake Texoma.

Homer is survived by his wife, Judy Fraley of Whitewright; daughter Karla Young and husband Kirt of Gordonville; sons, Mike Hulsey and wife Jennifer of Newnan, Georgia, Steve Hulsey and wife Deborah of Dallas, and Jeff Hulsey and wife Kristi of Gunter; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Lucille Jackson of Garland. He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Kevin Fraley.

A Come and Go Celebration of Life will be 11am-3pm Saturday, September 18, 2021, at the Lodge at Cedar Mills Marina on Lake Texoma.  A Masonic Memorial Service will be held at 1pm.  Refreshments will be served.
