After graduating from Abilene High School, Hershel pursued his Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture at Texas Tech. Upon being honorably discharged from his military service in El Paso, Texas, Hershel settled in North Texas with his family. He dedicated himself to providing for them as a sheet metal contractor, embodying a strong work ethic and commitment to his loved ones.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Hershel found joy in the great outdoors and cherished moments spent traveling. He also generously gave his time to his community, serving as a soccer referee in the 90s, leaving a lasting impact on those he encountered.

Known for his affable nature and his innate ability to connect with others, Hershel was a beacon of light in the lives of many. His humor and easygoing personality endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
