Henry Nicholas Reiss of McKinney, Texas passed away on June 9, 2018 at the age of 88. He was born on January 15, 1930 to August and Josephine (Le Roux) Reiss in Detroit, Michigan. He served in the US Army and completed his Medical Field Service School training at Ft. Sam Houston –San Antonio, Texas prior to serving in the Korean War from 1951-1953. Henry drove a Medics Jeep for doctors during the campaign. He received three badges and metals including; two bronze service stars, a United Nations Service Medal, and two overseas bars. Henry had a thirty-year career with the Ford Motor Company. He was of the Catholic faith.
Henry is survived by his son, Dan Reiss and wife, Lisa of McKinney, Texas; daughters, Susan Creasy and husband, David of Monterey, Tennessee and Diane Ross of Wayne, Michigan; step-daughter, Deborah Austin of South Lion, Michigan; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members and friends in Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Roger Reiss; and his sisters, Joan Moran and Andrea Serra.
