Henry Lee Beal of Allen, Texas passed away on May 10, 2018 at the age of 85. He was born on November 29, 1932 to Lloyd and Dovie Cordelia (Moore) Beal in Paris, Texas. Henry married Mary Lucille Merritt on December 7, 1952 in Paris, Texas. He worked for the United States Postal Service for over 32 years. Henry had a passion for life, a love for family, and never met a stranger. Caring and giving came easy to Henry through a strong belief in church and family. He enjoyed traveling, gardening, singing, dancing, and telling jokes. Henry was a member of the First Baptist Church in Allen, Texas.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Mary Lucille Beal of Allen, Texas; daughter, Crystal Ann Gittle and husband, John of Allen, Texas; grandsons, Adam Christopher Gittle and Noah Grayson Gittle of Allen, Texas; great-grandchildren, Landon Gittle and Channing Gittle; and many other loving family members and friends.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Arlene Potts.
A graveside service was held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas.
