Henry D. Askew of Princeton, Texas passed away on January 30, 2019 at the age of 77. He was born on August 10, 1941 to Clyde Ray and Idabell (Purser) Askew in Buckeye, Arizona. Henry married Donna Kay Estep on April 4, 1980 in Anna, Texas. He enjoyed hunting in the mountains of Colorado and restoring old cars.
Henry is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Donna Askew of Princeton, Texas; sons, Henry D. Askew, Jr. of Edgewood, Texas, Clyde Askew of Sherman, Texas, Donnie Askew of Corpus Cove, Texas, Blake Askew of Princeton, Texas and Bradley Askew also of Princeton, Texas; grandchildren, Bailey, Brittni and Braelynn; and several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Ray Askew of Howe, Texas and Louie Askew of Princeton, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 4, 2019 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery in Melissa, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
