Heleodoro "Lolin" Leyva

Heleodoro “Lolin” Leyva was a loving husband and brother. He passed away surrounded by his wife on December 16, 2023 in Dallas, Texas at the age of 48. He was born to Epigmenio Leyva and Maria de Jesus Davila on August 13, 1975 in Valle Hermoso, Mexico.

Lolin was a graduate of W.W. Samuell High School in Dallas, Texas and earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas at Dallas. He worked for Coca-Cola Enterprise for over 20 years before transitioning to Gourmet Cuisine, Inc. where he was the production manager. His career was marked by dedication and excellence, he was well-liked and respected for his expertise in the food industry.

In 2010, he married the love of his life, Yudit, and together they built a beautiful life. They loved to travel and spent a good amount of time exploring new places. Lolin was also a fierce Dallas Cowboys fan. Win or lose, he was loyal to America’s Team.

He is survived by his wife, Yudit Leyva; brother, Epigmenio Leyva and wife, Veronica, and their children Mateo, Samantha, and Sarah; mother-in-law, Epifania Hernandez; father-in-law, Arturo Esquivel; sister-in-law, Daisy Vargas, and husband, Luis, and their son, Mateo; sister-in-law, Salma Esquivel, and her fiancé, Gerardo Salcedo; and sister-in-law, Karla Esquivel. Lolin is proceeded in death by his parents, Epigmenio Leyva and Maria de Jesus Davila.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. The family will receive guests for a visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park following the service.
