Helen Roselinda (Duffner) Hutsler of Savannah, Texas passed away on October 1, 2020 at the age of 80. She was born on November 4, 1939 to Elmer Duffner and Lovena (Meyer) Duffner in Hermann, Missouri. Helen grew up in Hermann, where she graduated from St. George’s High School with the class of 1957. She married Robert “Bob” Joseph Hutsler on October 8, 1977 in Manchester, Missouri. Helen worked briefly as a secretary before having children and raising her children. She enjoyed arts and crafting and was an avid reader. Helen was of Catholic faith.

Helen was survived by her husband, Bob Hutsler of Savannah, Texas; daughters, Kathy Houston and husband, Ken of Denton, Texas and Lisa Marie Toulouse and husband, Jeff of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Amy Elizabeth Robertson, Kenneth Luke Houston, Jeffrey Toulouse and Jackson Toulouse; sisters, Hilda Moore and husband, Delane of Houston, Missouri and Harriet Zunick of Hot Springs, Arkansas and a host of other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Harold Duffner and Herb Duffner.

A “come and go” visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary starting at 6:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing.

A mass service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 5, 2020 at St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church, 3990 West University Drive, Prosper, Texas 75075.

Following the funeral service, a procession will make its way to Ridgeview Memorial Park for a committal service where all are invited to attend the committal service maintaining social distancing or you may remain in your vehicle. You will be able to listen to the service through speakers set up at the gravesite.
