Helen enjoyed cheering on her children and grandchildren at all sporting events and saved every award they received. She loved to spend Saturday nights at the car races cheering the hometown drivers to victory. Helen was a perennial volunteer of the WW PTO, never missing a chance to spoil the kids with cupcakes and cookies. Helen loved to spend time with her family, talking on the phone to friends and going through a coloring book weekly, mailing what she colored to her loved ones. Helen will always be remembered for her skills in the kitchen, there was nothing she couldn't make that wasn't delicious. Helen loved watching Pro Football, her favorite team was the team playing against The Dallas Cowboys! There weren't many Saturdays that she wasn't in front of the TV watching Hee -Haw then wrestling. We never could convince her it was fake.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the healthcare professionals that worked tirelessly to help Helen through her journey. A special thank you to Kandice Wood for being there for Helen on a daily basis.
