Helen Hsu, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2024. She was born March 10, 1959 in Taiwan to her devoted parents, Nai-Shiuan Hsu and Mei-Lien Hsu Lin.

Helen lived a life marked by grace and kindness. She was an active and cherished member of the Tao Dallas Group, dedicating much of her time and energy to their mission. Helen’s spirituality and devotion to the Tao were evident in the way she touched the lives of everyone around her.

A proud alumna of the University of Texas at Dallas, Helen pursued a career of accounting. She worked for the Arrangement Distinctive Interiors, an interior design service and furniture company, where her passion for accounting shone brightly. She also worked at the same time for a landscaping company as a part-time bookkeeper. Beyond her professional life, Helen found joy and fulfillment in teaching tai chi at the Richardson Recreation Center, where she guided many in the practice of mindfulness and wellness.

Helen had a generous heart, especially when it came to helping children, and she lived with a deep respect for all living beings, embracing a vegetarian lifestyle. Her nurturing nature and unwavering kindness will be remembered by everyone she met.

Helen is survived by sisters, Yu Yun Tseng of Taiwan, Yi-Chien “Jenny” Lien (John) of Plano, Texas, Jane Yeh of Plano, Texas, Shyling Glaze (Mike) of Tucson, Arizona; nieces and nephews, Ting Tseng, Lilian (Kyle) Norton, Mikela Norton, Ava Norton, Henry (Karen) Lien, Susanah, Meredith, David Yeh, Daniel Yeh, Paul Glaze; and a host of numerous other loving family and friends.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, and brother-in-law Yung-Chang Yeh.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 22nd, 2024 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.

The family will receive guests for a visitation from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013 prior to the service.
