Helen Beatrice Beidel of Richardson, Texas, went Home to be with her Savior on November 15, 2014. She was 70 years old, and had battled pancreatic cancer for two years. Helen was born September 6, 1944 in Compton, California and was raised in Carlsbad, New Mexico. She was married to her high school sweetheart and soul mate for 51 faithful and loving years, and had four daughters and 12 grandchildren. Helen taught Latin in the Richardson Independent School District, and went on to develop the Latin program at Trinity Christian Academy in Addison. A gifted teacher, she was dearly loved by her students and colleagues. She was a member of Trinity Bible Church in Richardson for over 25 years, and had also been a member of First Baptist Dallas for many years prior. Helen’s greatest love was being a devoted wife, a supportive mother to her four daughters and a loving grandmother to her 12 grandchildren. She gave of herself wholeheartedly and selflessly to them all.

Helen is survived by her loving husband, Mike Beidel of Richardson, Texas; four daughters, Mary Stoelzing and husband Darren of Boerne, Texas, Sarah Queal and husband Kyle, Elizabeth Tipton and husband Tom, and Rebecca Scott and husband Todd all of Richardson, Texas; grandchildren, Andrew, Katherine, Molly, Mary Claire, Emily, Sam, Wil, Caroline, Sophie, Ben, Ava, and Clara; sister, Linda Velasquez and nephew, Aaron Velasquez both of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Helen was spoken of lovingly often by her husband Mike to students and individual parents of which I am one in his history in school administration. Where I did not know her, I knew she was loving and special because of his words. Libby Ferguson Deans, March 20, 2015 Sending all my love to Helen's family at this time. She blessed my life with her amazing spirit. Her love for her family was the embodiment of who she was as a person. An amazing light in this world that will be greatly missed. Sarah Bentley, DC, December 1, 2014 Our lives, and our daughters' lives, were exceedingly blessed by knowing Helen. She lives not only in our hearts but also in the songs our grandchildren sing. She was our friend, as close to us as a sister. Our thoughts and prayers remain with Mike and the girls and their families. Lionel and Lynn Landry, November 24, 2014
