Helen Beatrice Beidel

Sep 06 1944 - Nov 15 2014

Helen Beatrice Beidel of Richardson, Texas, went Home to be with her Savior on November 15, 2014. She was 70 years old, and had battled pancreatic cancer for two years. Helen was born September 6, 1944 in Compton, California and was raised in Carlsbad, New Mexico. She was married to her high school sweetheart and soul mate for 51 faithful and loving years, and had four daughters and 12 grandchildren. Helen taught Latin in the Richardson Independent School District, and went on to develop the Latin program at Trinity Christian Academy in Addison. A gifted teacher, she was dearly loved by her students and colleagues. She was a member of Trinity Bible Church in Richardson for over 25 years, and had also been a member of First Baptist Dallas for many years prior. Helen’s greatest love was being a devoted wife, a supportive mother to her four daughters and a loving grandmother to her 12 grandchildren. She gave of herself wholeheartedly and selflessly to them all.

Helen is survived by her loving husband, Mike Beidel of Richardson, Texas; four daughters, Mary Stoelzing and husband Darren of Boerne, Texas, Sarah Queal and husband Kyle, Elizabeth Tipton and husband Tom, and Rebecca Scott and husband Todd all of Richardson, Texas; grandchildren, Andrew, Katherine, Molly, Mary Claire, Emily, Sam, Wil, Caroline, Sophie, Ben, Ava, and Clara; sister, Linda Velasquez and nephew, Aaron Velasquez both of Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Franklin and Helen Beatrice Medlin.

A memorial service celebrating her life, legacy and Lord will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, November 24, 2014 at Watermark Community Church, 7540 LBJ Fwy, Dallas, TX 75251.
