Haven Kennedy Ortiz, age 3 years of The Colony, Texas went into the arms of the Angels on September 30, 2009. She was born on March 9, 2006 in Plano, Texas to Jonathan Ortiz and Shelley Anne Kennedy. Haven is survived by her Mommy, Shelley Ortiz and her daddy, Johnathan Ortiz; grandparents, Don Aiken, Frances Kennedy, Flavio Ortiz and Aida Ortiz; aunts and uncles, Jenny and Brian Reeves, Flavio Ortiz, Jr; family friends, Andrew and Jean Lindsay and Debbie and Stephen Harmon. The family will receive friends during a Visitation to be held from 6-8 PM on Friday, October 2, 2009 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Frisco, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Rejoice Lutheran Church, 12000 Independence Parkway in Frisco with Pastor John Hardwick and Pastor Steve Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview West Memorial Park in Frisco, Texas.

Shelly, Haven was a special little girl and you were a devoted mother. We are so sorry that she was taken early. We think of you often, and hope that your grief lightens.
