Mr. Harvey Lee Bullock of Princeton, Texas passed away August 13, 2013 in McKinney, Texas. He was born August 23, 1926 and raised in Dallas, but spent 2 years in Buckner’s Orphans Home, and 1 year in the Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital due to a car accident when he was 12. After graduating from Mesquite High School, he enlisted in the Merchant Marines and served 5 years, traveling the entire world on a ship. He owned a grocery store in Dallas for a good while, then a full service gas station for 30 years, retired for a couple of years, then went into the auto parts business for 12 more years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Cleon Bullock and Annie Hutchins Bullock, stepfather Bud Jordan, a sister, Billie Fountain, and his wife of 58 years, Jimmie Nell Bullock who passed in 2011. He is survived by a sister-in-law Coy Foster of McKinney, niece Beverly Davidson Erwin of Princeton, and a nephew, James Michael Moore of Houston, and a brother in Christ and very good friend, Robert Willett of Princeton. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Princeton.
