Harry Eugene Pryor, a beloved resident of Allen, Texas, passed away on January 18, 2024, at the age of 81. He was born on October 29, 1942, to Raymond Terrell and Marie (Simonton) Scott in Waco, Texas. Harry attended Waco High School but graduated from Mesquite High School as part of the class of 1960. His pursuit of education led him to Eastfield Community College, where he focused on studying real estate.

On August 28, 1986, Harry exchanged vows with the love of his life, Marsha Suzanne Carmichael, in Seagoville, Texas. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments. Harry dedicated several years to a successful career in real estate, serving his local community from 1987 to 2000.

Later, he found fulfillment in a new chapter of his professional life at Allen Independent School District, working in the transportation department. Harry enjoyed engaging in conversations with parents and took great pride in his work. He remained in this role for 16 years, retiring with a legacy of dedication and service.

Harry's impact extended beyond the workplace. He will be fondly remembered for his warm personality, genuine kindness, and the joy he brought to those around him. His hobbies included a love for reading and being an avid sports fan, particularly supporting the Rangers and Cowboys.

Harry Eugene Pryor is survived by his loving wife, Marsha Pryor of Allen, Texas; children, Terry Pryor, Rhonda Asberry, Joanne Tsahakis all of Allen, Texas, Cindy Roundtree and partner, Randy Teal of Thomaston, Georgia; grandchildren, Patrick Asberry and wife, Yazmine, Sara Cole and husband, Hayden, Alison Anthony and fiancé, Ty Stamp, and Cole Roundtree and partner, Cody Johnson; and brother, Joseph Scott and wife, Tina, of Seagoville, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Terrell and Marie Scott, and two brothers, Bobby Pryor and Terrell Scott. Harry leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and cherished memories that will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 27, 2024 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
