Harry Eugene McIntosh, Jr.

Harry Eugene McIntosh Jr. passed away peacefully at home in Frisco, Texas surrounded by loved ones. He is the beloved son of Harry Eugene McIntosh Sr. and Katherine Miller McIntosh.

This United States Marine had just returned home from Korea when he met the love of his life in Martinez, California. Peggy Folin caught him “at a weak moment” when they eloped to Reno on November 3rd, 1956.  This woman he openly cherished until the moment he went to serve with our lord. 

He wore his 60-year membership pin to the UA Local 342 100th anniversary. He worked as a Steamfitter in many refineries while making a home in Concord, CA.  Upon retiring he and Peggy moved to Brownsville, CA and built their dream home overlooking Lost Creek. Harry was a VFW life member, and belonged to Masonic Lodge #50 in Forbestown, California.  One year ago they moved to Frisco, Texas to be with family. 

Harry is survived by: his bride of 59 years, Peggy Folin McIntosh. His son, Harry E. McIntosh III and his wife Lauri.  His daughter, Kelly Kraft and her husband John.  Grandson Joshua McIntosh. Granddaughter Shannon Sims with her family: Jeremy, Noah, and Ezra.  Granddaughter, Stephanie Kraft with her family: Kyle, Cadin, and Michael. Granddaughter Rebecca McIntosh. Granddaughter Chelsey McIntosh with her family: Colin and Teeghan. Sister-in-law Jeanne Biando and her husband Lloyd. Sister-in-law Suzanne Farley and her husband Bill.  Harry touched many lives and will be missed by a long list of family and friends whom he loved dearly. 

A Graveside Service will be held at Ridgeview West Memorial Park in Frisco on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 3:00 PM.
