Harry Eugene Boysen, 78, surrounded by his family, passed away peacefully to the arms of our Lord on April 26, 2009. A memorial service celebrating Harry’s life will be held at The Heights Baptist Church, 210 West Renner Road, Richardson TX in the Chapel on Wednesday, April 29 at 1:00PM. Born June 22, 1930 in Holly, Colorado to John and Estelle Boysen. Harry was a veteran of the Korean war serving in the United States Air Force.. Proceeded in death by his parents John and Estelle Boysen, brother John and brother in law, Vaughn Woodard. Harry is survived by his loving and faithful wife of 56 years, Phyllis Duane Boysen of Plano, TX, daughter Phyllis Tennison and her husband Larry of Omaha NE, daughter Cathy Boysen, Prairie Village, KS, son, Harry and his wife Sheri of Parker, TX. He is also survived by five loving grandchildren: Ashley and Whitney Boysen, Melissa Paladino and husband Tony and their son AJ, Mitch and his fiancé Jen, and Merritt, all of whom loving called him “Poppa”. Additionally, Harry will be greatly missed by his surviving siblings, brother James and his wife Georgina of Colorado Springs, CO., brother Darrell and his wife Marjorie of Canon City, CO, and sister Estelle Hanna and her husband Bob of Shawnee Mission, KS. Lastly, sister in law, Doris Woodard of Grove OK, and nephews and nieces, Mark and Brad Hanna, Laura and Arthur Boysen, and Suzanne and Kevin Woodard. Harry will always be remembered by family and friends as a hard working provider, loving son and brother, and dedicated husband, father, and grandfather.
