Harriet May Hanlon, age 80, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on June 3, 2017. She was born March 25, 1937, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to John and Violet (Barker) Fortney. Harriet was an avid Bridge player who belonged to many Bridge clubs locally. She was of the Roman Catholic faith.
She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Brazil of Frisco, Texas, Judith Dupriest of Mansfield, Texas, Dr. Melanie Jungblut and husband Tom Kueterman of Norwalk, Ohio, Laurie Anderson of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, Zach Gonzales, Michael Brazil, Jessie McMillan, Samantha Anderson, Jack and Alex Anderson, Andrew Kueterman; great-grandchildren, Audri, Chanel and Birklee; brother, Bob Fortney and wife Geralyn of Florida; sisters, Carole Rock, Joyce Sloncesky and husband Raymond, Patty Shawley and husband David all of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Mary Ann Weaver of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico; special friend, Elaine Riley of Tucson, Arizona; a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
Harriet is preceded in death by her parents, John and Violet Fortney; husband, Raymond Hanlon; and brothers, John Frances Fortney, John Joseph Fortney and George Fortney.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation being held from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Tuesday evening, June 6, 2017, with a rosary service beginning at 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
