Harold D. Steinberg, M.D. of McKinney, Texas passed away on February 24, 2022 at the age of 64.
Harold was born on November 1, 1957 to Bob and Sherry Steinberg in Queens, New York. He graduated from East Meadow High School in East Meadow, NY.
He attended and graduated from Boston University Medical School.
His full title was as a General, Vascular, and Thoracic Surgeon with subspecialties in Intensive Care and Nutrition. He gave up doing surgery in the mid-1990s to practice Integrative and Alternative Medicine feeling that he could better help his patients with prolotherapy and alternative methods instead.
Dr. Harold has practiced in New York, New Jersey, Florida, Washington State, and Hawaii. People came from all over the world to see him, but mostly in recent years, he did house calls.
The best quote many have heard from Dr. Harold was “He who dies with the most cured patients, wins.”
In addition to being a wonderful physician, Harold was a loving husband, grandfather and father figure, sharing a deep bond with grandson Tristian Wilson, whom he and Erin have been raising since 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Erin of McKinney, Texas; his parents Bob and Sherry Steinberg of East Meadow, New York; stepdaughter, Beth Watson and husband, Shane, of Plano, Texas; stepson, Drew Wilson of Albuquerque, New Mexico; grandchildren, Micah Watson, and Brian Watson, Joseph Wilson, Andrew Wilson, Medley Wilson, and Tristian Wilson; sister, Ellen Finkler of Long Island and her children Abe, Alison, Sam, Julie and Jacquelyn; and numerous other loving family and friends.
A memorial service will be held in New York at a later date.
