Harold Raymond Durham, Jr. of McKinney, Texas passed away on September 10, 2020 at the age of 84. He was born November 12, 1935 to Harold Raymond Durham, Sr. and Virginia Ruth Wistner in Refugio, Texas. Harold graduated from Lufkin High School and then he obtained his Bachelor’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin. He proudly served in the United States Air Force as a pilot from 1961 to 1968 when he was honorably discharged. Harold married Nancy Lynn Henson on February 12, 1963 in Denton, Texas. He was of Presbyterian faith. Harold loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and golfing. His occupation was a commercial pilot.  Harold was a published author and had a true passion for reading. Above all, he was a great father, husband and friend.

Harold is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nancy Lynn Durham of McKinney, Texas; children, Susan Kay Coffey and husband, Michael G. Coffey, Karen Diane Palmisano and husband, Bob Palmisano, Harold “Trey” R. Durham, III and wife, Amy Elizabeth Durham and Amy Lynn Gregory and husband, Steven Gregory; grandchildren, Catherine Lynn Carroll, Courtney Michelle Oliphant, Katherine Lynn Gregory and Abigail Jane Gregory; great-grandchildren, Adelyn Mae Carroll and Graham Wyatt Carroll; brother, Michael Vernon Durham and wife, Mary Margaret Durham.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Harold will be inurned at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Arlington, Texas at a later date.
