Condolences to you and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. May God bless your father. Rest in eternal peace. Naoko Onodera , September 15, 2021 Your dad always treated me so warmly from the first time I visited while in college to the last visit four years ago. He was great at asking questions and taking a personal interest in me, and he was very affirming of me. Meanwhile your mom was quieter, but with a big, caring heart. She had such a beautiful, sweet spirit. The last time we were in TX, your dad gave us water bottles and a pitcher in case we were in a place without pure water--we have used the bottles! They've come in very handy in Spain with our hiking. I just appreciated his thoughtfulness and desire to care. I am SO sorry that I did not call him before he passed. I didn't realize he had so little time left--it all happened so quickly. But know that I have very good memories of him. Wish I could be there on Friday and Saturday to join you. Sending hugs!
