Harold K. Chalker

Mr. Harold K. Chalker, Age 88, of McKinney, Texas, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2006 in Frisco, Texas. He was born on February 16, 1918 in Whitehall, Michigan to Lewis and Laura (Kyselka) Chalker. After the death of his first wife Bernice Ferguson, Harold married Joan Mathews Morrow on January 6, 1991 in Sun City, Arizona. Mr. Chalker was member of the Home Guard in Michigan. Harold worked as a tool and die maker. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Prosper, Texas. As a hobby he loved to make Tiffany lamp shades. He is survived by his wife, Joan Chalker of McKinney, Texas; daughters, Marilyn Pennington and her husband Lin of Toledo, Ohio and Pam Dranberg and her husband Gary of Delta, Colorado; step-daughters, Jane Jarrett and her husband David of Coppell, Texas and Linda Burnett of Prosper, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; brother, John Chalker of Traverse City, Michigan; and numerous nieces, nephews other loving relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents; first wife, Bernice Ferguson; brother, Chuck who was killed in WWII; his buddy, Doug Burnett. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM, Sunday, December 31, 2006 at the First Baptist Church of Prosper, Texas.
