Harold Brewster “H.B” Taylor, III of McKinney, Texas passed away November 24, 2017 at the age of 50. He was born August 7, 1967 to Harold Brewster Taylor, Jr. and Constance (Vanfossan) Taylor in St. Joseph, Missouri. H.B. married Beth Keely on July 25, 1990 in Kirksville, Missouri.
H.B. attended Truman State University in Kirksville Mo. and studied chemistry, but discovered a passion for computers. He then followed that passion to work for Quaker Oats in St. Joseph in 1994 and continued to work for them until they were acquired by PepsiCo in the IT field. He was a senior manager at the time of his passing.
H.B. was survived by his wife, Beth Taylor, of McKinney, Texas; two sons, Keegan and Cameron Taylor also of McKinney, Texas; parents, Bruce and Connie Taylor of St. Joseph, Missouri; sister, Amy Valencia of Shawnee Mission, Kansas and Rachel Rush of St. Joseph, Missouri; brother, Eric Taylor of Barnard, Missouri; and many other loving nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold Brewster Taylor, Sr. and wife, Pauline and Kermit Vanfossan and his first wife, Ima and second wife, June. As well as his brother-in-law Chris Valencia.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel in Allen, Texas.
Memorials may be made in his memory to the Esophageal Cancer Awareness Association (ECAA) or the American Cancer Society (ACS).
