Violet, Beverly and I are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Gy. We are offering our prayers and condolences to you and your family during this most difficult time. His time on this earth was truly a celebration of life in all the many things that he accomplished. From just the short time we came to know him, it is obvious that he loved people and that people loved him. In the difficult days ahead, please know that we are here and available for anything that we can do. With very warm regards,
Ken and Beverly Valka, January 15, 2022 So saddened to hear of Gy's passing. He was a wonderful friend and mentor during our years in the Pulmonary Division. Lots of happy memories and laughter during those early days. His love of family and dancing with Vi are for eternity. RIP faithful physician, father, friend and mentor (of many). Pauline and Eldon Wulbrecht Pauline Wulbrecht (and Eldon), January 12, 2022 I want to convey my appreciation for his great service as a physician and friend for many years. Sue Hamby & Bob Allison, January 10, 2022 What a great man! Always positive and very knowledgeable with a great attitude to helping his patients! Rest In Peace! Janice, January 10, 2022 I was sorry to see in Sunday's Temple paper that Gy Okeson passed away. Between 1988 and 1994 I played tenor banjo in the Dixieland band that Gy played clarinet for. We used to rehearse in an upper room at Scott and White and played fairly frequently in the central Texas area. With Gy in the group we had three doctors plus a psychiatrist. I think Gy joined us around 1992 and added a nice touch with his clarinet. John Pinno, January 10, 2022 You are in our thoughts and prayers. May all of your and Guy’s friends bring you comfort. May you have peace in knowing that Guy is playing in the Angels band for God.. Love, Cindy & Marvin Cindy Snodgrass, January 9, 2022 My deepest condolences for your loss! The world was a more joyful place with Gy and he will be greatly missed. +Peace, Pam Pam Hendricks, January 5, 2022 May our Lord of all comfort (2Cor 1:3) surround you. Debbie Rosenberger , January 4, 2022 Thinking of you all in your time of loss. Peace be with you all. Janet Bandas, January 4, 2022
