Gweneth Louise Carlyle, age 85, of McKinney, Texas, passed away August 22, 2015. She was born on November 13, 1929 in Augusta, Maine, to Calvin and Alice (Taber) Bunker. On December 25, 1948, Gweneth married William Howard Carlyle, in Chula Vista, California. She retired from American Olean Tile Company. Gweneth was a volunteer fire fighter for the Bolivar Fire Department and a member of the Fireman’s Auxiliary and made quilts for Project Linus.
She is survived by her children, Deborah Thompson and husband Larry of McKinney, Texas, Jacque Gilmore and husband Ed of Olean, New York, Belinda Stanley and husband Robert of Bendale, Minnesota, Judith Kinnaird and husband Steve of Palm Bay, Florida; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Teri O’Burg and husband Bruce of Surprise, Arizona.
Gweneth is preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Alice Bunker; husband, William Howard Carlyle; siblings, Calven Spencer, Bill Bunker, Margie McBee and Calvin Bunker, Jr.
