Guadalupe “Lupe” G. Ramos Sepulbeda, 96, formerly of McKinney, Texas passed away in her Lewisville home on February 6, 2017. She was born May 8, 1920, to Reyes Garcia and Juana Garcia in McKinney, Texas. Lupe married Gustabo Solis Sepulbeda on October 11, 1941, in McKinney, Texas. She worked in flowers her whole life, it was her passion. Lupe also enjoyed cooking, walking and animals. She will be remembered as a strong willed, hardworking, and independent woman. Lupe was a woman after Gods heart. She loved her family and friends dearly. Lupe was feisty… yet always had a good sense of humor.
She is survived by grandson, Ricardo “Richard” Sepulbeda and wife Esmeralda; sister, Narcissa Cordova (Conrado) of Minnesota; nephews and nieces, Delfino Garcia (Emilia) of Lewisville, Texas, Emilio Garcia (Manuela) of McKinney, Texas, Ray “Ronnie” Garcia (Angie) of McKinney, Texas, Rito Garcia of Denton, Texas, Patricia Mendoza (Freddy) of McKinney, Texas, Narisso Garcia (Andrea) of McKinney, Texas, Jenara “Cleo” Singleterry of Blue Ridge, Texas, Celia Ayala of McKinney, Texas, Modesta Garcia (Jose) of The Colony, Texas and Janie “Diva” Garcia of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and many other grandnieces and grandnephews.
Lupe was preceded in death by her husband, Gustabo Solis Sepulbeda; son, Johnny Sepulbeda, and step-son, Isabel Sepulbeda, parents and siblings.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas with Brother Noel Abrigo officiating. Interment is to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Saturday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
