Nan and Alec Parker, April 19, 2020 You will be deeply missed tio. My heart breaks knowing you’re gone. Say hello to my grandma for me. Leslie Gonzalez , April 19, 2020 Chico while being small in stature was tall in heart and actions. He served the Frisco Fire Department tirelessly and was committed to his family, coworkers, and friends. During the 10 years I was on the Fire Dept. with him he was often the officer and I the driver on incidents we responded to. I regret that changes in our careers reduced the contact I had with Chico. My thoughts and prayers are with Chico's family and friends during this time. Jack Reeves, April 19, 2020 Praying for the family.
Donna James, April 18, 2020 Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Until you meet again.
Sarah M. Claunch, April 18, 2020 Estela, I am so sorry for your tragic loss! He was such a good guy and his whole life measured by being a person dedicated to helping others. Sending tons of love and hugs as you and your family deal with these holes in your hearts.
Ron Heezen , April 18, 2020 Stella, Rudy, Lisa and Gina, We are so sorry for your loss. Chico touched the lives of many as a Frisco Firefighter/EMT. As Frisco's first paid Firefighter, he was instrumental in laying the foundation for a new generation of firefighters in Frisco. His efforts and commitment as a firefighter reduced suffering and saved the lives of many in the town he loved. In addition, through his commitment to the Municipal Fire School at Texas A&M and the Frisco Fire Academy, he provided a positive influence for many firefighters in Texas, our Nation, and even internationally. But most importantly, Chico left no doubt with anyone who knew him that he dearly loved and cherished his family. We know your loss is great but your memories are wonderful. Mack & Allison Borchardt, April 18, 2020 Stella my heart is hurting for you. May you have peace knowing Chico knew how much you loved him. You took such good care of him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Kathy, April 18, 2020 Rest in Peace Brother, We will take it from here. Estela, Rudy, Lisa, and Gina, I am so sorry for your loss and our family will be praying for all of you. Chico was the first Lieutenant I ever worked for in Frisco. In fact he was probably the first Lieutenant almost everyone worked for, back in the old days. He had a personality that you could not help but like. He had so much knowledge of the fire service and was so willing to share. He kept his crews safe while we worked and would always try and teach the new guys even when we all pushed back. I can still remember going to Hermenia's before and after fire academies with Chico and our crews. He taught me more about the fire service than I could ever imagine and he pushed me to look beyond what was then a small department for something bigger. I will never forget that. Chico, while you may have left your family and your friends, we will meet again. Until then.... Chris, April 18, 2020 You will be missed greatly tio. Lauralye, April 18, 2020 So sorry for your loss. Praying for the family. I pray peace, comfort and the love of Christ keep your family during this time.
