Mr. Gregory Michael “Mike” Fornea, age 45, of Allen, Texas passed away September 3, 2006, at his home. He was born May 18, 1961, in Bogalusa, Louisiana to Mason and Terry Fornea. He graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Industrial Management. On March 3, 1984 he married Sandra Frazier in Kentwood, LA. Mr. Fornea was an accountant with the Dallas Morning News and a member of Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church. Mike was ordained as a Deacon in the Baptist Church in 1987 serving in churches in Louisiana and Texas. He had a love for sports, especially bird hunting and golfing. He is survived by his wife Sandra; sons Andrew and Luke; mother Terry Fornea of Angie, Louisiana; brother Allen Fornea and his wife Connie of Houston, TX; and a host of other loving family and friends. His father preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Thursday, September 7, 2006 at Cottonwood Creek Baptist Church, 1015 SH 121, Allen, Texas with Rev. David Porter officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 pm, Wednesday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
