Gregory Laurence Clapper, age 60, of McKinney, Texas passed away October 22, 2006. He was born September 4, 1946, in California to John Wesley and Helen Betty (Hutchins) Clapper. On June 1, 1974, he married Lori Sanchez in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mr. Clapper worked for GMAC for over 30 years. He was a member of Family Worship Center in McKinney. He is survived by his wife, Lori of McKinney; sons, Jeremiah Clapper and fiancée, Krissy of Tampa, Florida, Ryan Fellows and wife, Vickie and Kevin Fellows all of Albuquerque, New Mexico; 3 granddaughters; brothers, John Clapper of Ft. Worth, Texas, Steve Clapper of Albuquerque and Jeff Clapper of Whitehall, Pennsylvania; sisters, Rebecca Dickerson, Dana Shafer and Deborah Clapper all of Albuquerque; father-in-law, Albert Sanchez; very close friends, Bob and Carol Burbridge; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. His parents, John and Helen Clapper and brother-in-law, L.R. Dickerson preceded him in death. A memorial was held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 24, 2006, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Pastor Charlie Tuttle and Pastor Dalton Froman officiating. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Albuquerque. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Family Worship Center Building Fund, 4045 Eldorado Parkway, McKinney, Texas 75070.
