Greg Harper

Greg was born Stephen Gregory Harper to Ronald Gary Harper and Nora Sue Harper in Dallas, Texas. He grew up with two sisters in Lucas, Texas and loved motorcycles, classic cars, horses, and swimming. He spent many weekends with his dad going to classic car shows. He loved his family and loved his church.

Greg graduated from Allen High School in 1980 with the training to become a custodian for the Allen Independent School District and began working for them in September 1983. He worked in some capacity for the Allen schools until July 10, 2025. Greg loved his job, especially working for the HS coaches.

He was also very involved in church. His social life took off when he joined the “Mixed Blessings” singles class at Hunters Glen Baptist Church in 1991. He also served as an usher.

Greg was a huge Elvis fan and loved Olivia Newton John. He also collected model cars and loved antiquing with his family. Greg was an Angel on this Earth and his hugs will be missed by everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his mother, Nora Sue Harper of Allen, Texas; sister, Emily Gay Wynn and husband, James of Princeton, Texas; and nieces, Lindsay Allen, Madeline Wynn, and Alline Wynn.

Greg was preceded in death by his sister, Ginger Harper and father, Ronald Harper.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 28, 2025 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Interment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park following the service.
