Grayson Michael Simonds passed away March 14, 2022 in Wylie, Texas at the age of 20. He was born to Michael Andrew and Heather Dawn (Womack) Simonds on May 15, 2001 in Plano, Texas.
Grayson proudly served his country in the United States Army Infantry.
He is survived by his parents, Mike and Heather Simonds of Wylie, Texas; brother, Bailey Simonds and wife, Kristina, nephew Logan, and niece Evelyn of Garland, Texas; fiancé, Hannah Ferguson of Josephine, Texas; grandparents, Beverly Reynolds and husband, John; Roger Womack and wife, Connie; Suzanne Simonds; and Judy Magill and husband, Mike; aunts and uncles, Kevin and Krissy Womack; Tyler who in all essence, was Grayson’s other brother; Jenna and John Verity; Chesley and Jody Womack; John, Jr. and Sherry Reynolds, and their children; Matt Simonds, Dakota Simonds, Nick Simonds, Joquin Lujan, Cheyenne Riester, and their spouses and children; great grandfather, Teddy McNabb; and great grandmother, Lorna Reynolds.
Grayson was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Simonds.
All who knew Grayson would know he was bigger than life. He laughed hard and lived life with no fears. There was nothing that could stop him from achieving anything his heart desired. Even though he had a heart of a soldier, he had care and compassion for all that crossed his path. We will continue to honor him by living life with kind hearts and daring souls.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
