Grady Leon Mills, of Princeton, Texas, passed away on July 11, 2026, at the age of 86.

Grady was born on August 23, 1939, in Prosper, Texas, to Henry Grady Mills and Cleo (Moore) Mills.

On May 2, 1976, Grady married the love of his life, Jan Annette Corbett. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and hard work.

Grady lived a life defined by hard work, love for his family, and kindness. He spent his years working for Texas Power and Light, Princeton ISD, and farming. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He found joy in hunting, fishing, farming, and especially treasured the time he spent with his family. His wisdom, generosity, and steady presence touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his daughter, Jaime Carrell and husband, Wyatt; son, Clifton Mills and his wife, Shannon; daughter, Donna Parz; grandchildren, Kade, Kole, Kasen, Kalin, Kinsler, Madeline, Taylor, Hogan, Josh, Brandon, and Meghan; and great granddaughter, Kora.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Cleo; his wife, Jan Mills; sisters, Edith Keller, Susie Coffee, and Inez Phelan; and brothers, Glenn Mills, Truitt Mills, and Billy Ray Mills.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 17, 2026 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. The service will also be live streamed at the following link: https://celebrationoflife.tv/blog/grady-leon-mills.  Interment will be held at Ridgeview Memorial Park following the service.

The family will receive guests for a visitation from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday evening at the funeral home.
