Glynn Edward Aldredge

Glynn Edward Aldredge of Fairview, Texas passed away after a short illness on June 14, 2021 in McKinney, Texas at the age of 67. He was born on July 18, 1953 to Bryant and Irene Aldredge in Lufkin, Texas. Glynn lived in Keltys, Texas until the age of 14 when his family moved to Orange, Texas. He graduated from Little Cypress High School in 1971 where he met the love of his life, and future wife, Nita McCall. Glynn graduated from Steven F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration. In 1975, he married Nita and together they raised two wonderful sons. Glynn worked at DuPont Sabine River Works for 30 years. At the age of 54, he was blessed to retire from DuPont and enjoyed spending time with his family and golfing for his remaining 13 years. Glynn was a quiet man with a dry sense of humor and a strong faith. His love for God was evident in his daily life.

He is survived by his adoring wife of 46 years, Nita; their two sons and their families, Cliff and Kristen Aldredge and their four children, Jake, Kinsey, Ellie, and Melody of Lucas, Texas and Scott Aldredge and Alex Nguyen of Dallas, Texas; brother, Ken and his wife, Peggy of Houston, Texas; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Phyllis McCall, Ricky and Sandy McCall of Orange, Texas, Dale and Madelon McCall of Waco, Texas, Mark and Jackie McCall of Deweyville, Texas, Beth and Ray Tearall of England, Margaret Droddy of Houston, Texas, Betty McCall of Williamsport, Pennsylvania and Joe White of Houston Texas; along with many nieces, nephews and their families.

Glynn was preceded in death by his parents, Bryant and Irene Aldredge; father- and mother-in-law, Cleon and Shirley McCall; sisters-in-law, Jean White and Patricia Willingham.

Honoring Glynn as pallbearers will be, Ernie Dyer, Dustin Dyer, Michael Procella, Ricky McCall, Dale McCall, and Mark McCall.

The family would like to thank the physicians, nurses, and staff at Baylor Scott & White McKinney and Texas Oncology for their great care for Glynn.

A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. Visitation will begin 2 hours prior. Dennis George of Cottonwood Creek Church will officiate the service.
