Gloria W. Schotten, age 76, of McKinney, Texas passed away February 24, 2018, in Plano, Texas. She was born September 24, 1941, in New Zealand, to Colin Worters and Daphne Grey Worters. Gloria grew up in New Zealand and later graduated from nursing school in London, England. She moved to the United States in 1972 to Fort Worth, Texas. Gloria worked as a registered nurse in many different areas for over forty years until she ended her career in 2009. She enjoyed gardening, animals, and taking care of others.
Gloria is survived by her children, Fran Woods and husband, Rob of Sydney, Australia, Matthew Schotten and wife, Christan of Fairview, Texas, and Meredith Blair and husband, Jeffrey of Anna, Texas; grandchildren, Hamish Woods, Richard Woods, Nicholas Woods, Hannah Schotten, Lauren Schotten, Bobby Blair, and Mallory Blair; brothers, John Worters, and Maynell Worters; and sisters, Daphne Arrowsmith, Barbara Mills, and Patricia Hendriks, and Colleen Worters.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Leonard Worters and Ian Worters, and her sister, Rosemary Worters.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas.
