Gloria Carpenter of Princeton, Texas passed away June 22, 2022 at the age of 69. She was born on September 30, 1952 to Grace (Simons) Carpenter in San Angelo, Texas. She worked in the retail industry for many years. Gloria was of the Christian faith. She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, and friend. Gloria will be missed dearly by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her beloved wife of 45 years, Julia Wilson of Princeton, Texas; sister, Bernita Bartley; brother, Billy Ables; sister, Kay Norris and husband, James; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and a host of other loving family and friends.
Gloria was preceded in death by her mother, Grace Carpenter; brother-in-law, Donald Bartley; and sister-in-law, Laura Ables.
The family will receive family and friends during a visitation on Friday afternoon, June 24, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Whitney Memorial Park, 510 South Bosque Street, Whitney, Texas 76692.
Gloria will have a second visitation Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Marshall & Marshall Funeral, 201 North Bosque, Whitney, Texas 76692 prior to the graveside service.
