Glenn Lewis Lindsey of Frisco, Texas passed away July 10, 2017, at the age of 80. He was born August 11, 1936, to Ivan Lindsey and Mary (Lewis) Lindsey in Paola, Kansas. Glenn married Cynthia McClintock Patton on November 17, of 2001 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After retirement, Glenn enjoyed participating in the American Legion. He was proud to be a Charter Member for the American Legion Post 178 in Frisco, Texas. He served in leadership positions with Post 178 including being named Legislative Chair. Through the American Legion, Glenn also served on various local committees with Frisco city leaders. Prior to retirement, Glenn was Director of Ancillary Services at Good Shepard Medical Center in Longview, Texas.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Cynthia Lindsey of Frisco, Texas; daughters, Jennifer Lindsey of Terrell, Texas; Alison Ritterbusch and husband Michael of McKinney, Texas and Ashley Patton also of McKinney, Texas; brother, Brad Lindsey and wife Grace of Birmingham, Alabama; sister, Judy Cartwell and husband David of Kansas City, Missouri; grandsons, Will Ritterbusch, Ben Ritterbusch, and Reid Castaneda all of McKinney, Texas; granddaughters, Amanda Koif, Sarah Koif, and Emily Koif all of Terrell, Texas and Abby Castaneda of McKinney, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ivan Lindsey and mother, Mary Farthing.
A private memorial graveside service will be held at Dallas Fort-Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
