Glenn E. Renfro

Glenn E. Renfro passed away on March 28, 2023 in Plano, Texas at the age of 81. He was born to James Othell and Cleo Christine (Lewis) Renfro on August 20, 1941 in Konawa, Oklahoma. Glenn married Marie Travis on June 17, 1960 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Allen. He was an Allen School Board member as well as a Meyers Park and Event Center Board member. He was Building Superintendent for Collin County governmental buildings, later being made Building Superintendent for all county buildings including the new Collin County Courthouse and Detention Center in McKinney, Texas.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Marie Renfro of Allen, Texas; son, Chris Renfro and wife, Lisa of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Cameron Renfro and wife, Erica of Anna, Texas and Andrew Renfro and wife, Emily of Lewisville, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his son, Glenn Scott Renfro and son, Todd Allan Renfro.

A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. The family will receive friends during a remembrance gathering from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2023 at the same location.
