Glen William Polk, age 77, of Little Elm, Texas, passed away on January 11, 2019. He was born January 13, 1941, to Hazel (Beard) and George William Polk in La Porte, Texas. Glen spent most of his early days in the Lubbock area, before settling in Prosper. He spent his life working in construction as well as having a passion for auto racing as both driver and team owner.
Glen is survived by his three children, Lisa (Polk) Knebel and her husband, Ken of Smithville, Texas, Glen Polk Jr. and his wife, Alicia of Lampasas, Texas, Jaime (Polk) Huddleston and her husband, Lute of Giddings, Texas; twelve grandchildren, Lucy, Braden, Nathan, Heather, Dakota, Kris, Tyler, Jordan, Courtney, Reed, Jenna and Shauna; fifteen great-grandchildren, Kaity, Kyndall, Charlie, Colten, Eliot, Lyna, Maren, Sara, Derrick, Keara, Christopher, Kendra, Bishop, Maeven, and Kaeden; siblings, Larry, Virgil, Martha, Linda, Emma, Salena, Jonita, Kenneth; extended family and special friends.
Glen was preceded in death by his wife, Louann; son, Gary Don; grandson, Trey; parents, Hazel and George; siblings, Troy, Robert, John and Laquita.
Family and friends are invited to a Visitation at Berkshire Chapel, 9073 Berkshire Drive, Frisco, Texas, on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held here on Thursday, January 17, 2019, beginning at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor John D. Herring officiating.
