Gladys Ruth Deck of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away on December 18, 2020 at the age of 95. She was born on May 31, 1925 to Robert L. Deck and Faye (Cline) Deck in Tonganoxie, Kansas. Gladys graduated from Oklahoma University in 1943. She then went to work for Kerr-McGee Oil Company. Gladys worked for Kerr-McGee as a lady land man for over 40 years. After her retirement, she became a realtor and worked for Century 21 in Oklahoma City. Gladys was as a part of the Desk and Derrick Club of Oklahoma City, as a part of Kerr-McGee. She joined a Baptist church early in life.
Gladys is survived by her sister, Betsy Shatley of South Lake, Texas; nephews, James Shatley of Dallas, Texas, Jack Shatley of Ft. Worth, Texas, Josh Shatley of South Lake, Texas and Gary Deck of Farmington, New Mexico; niece, Sharon Haymaker; nephew, Bob Swisher of Newark, Ohio; niece, Ina Heath and husband, Rick of Utica, Ohio; nephew, Bill Deck of San Diego, California and by numerous other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Faye Deck and her siblings, Bob Deck, Rowena Swisher, Coy Deck, Marcena Haymaker, Delbert Deck and Bill Deck.
