I will truly miss our dear sister, Gladys. She was truly a godly woman. She loved the Lord, her family, and served Christ's church. She was full of life and wit. There always seemed to be a gleam in her eyes and she enjoyed giving people lots of grief. She threatened--on multiple occasions--to buy me a razor so I could finally shave my beard! She gave great hugs. She loved God's Word and said so almost every week in church. And she longed for heaven. She lived with eternal perspective and never forgot that she was a pilgrim journeying on her way home, to be with Christ and to be reunited with her husband, whom she adored. She's with her faithful Savior now, and one day He will bring her with Him when He returns to make our world bright and new again. Then at last we'll all be home together.
